We've Been Holding This Sign for 100 Years

My Book about the Silent Sentinels who stood outside the White House for 2.5 years to gain the right to vote is included in an exhibit at the Boston Athenaeum. The exhibit, curated by Theo Tyson, called (Anti)Suffrage, is a sampling of books and ephemera from the Special Collections that look at how the suffrage movement changed women’s lives, including many different viewpoints, as they worked towards equality and voting rights.
